We were in a campervan - such a great location on the flats. We liked the Bois theme. Restaurant and bar staff were very competent and food was good value. Lovely views from restaurant. Good public areas cleaning schedule tho reducing availability of WC/Showers during this seemed unnecessary.

Review for bicycle or other slow travellers.

Actually we wanted to stay for the evening in Port-Saint-Louis-sur-Rhone - which marks our end point of the ViaRhona tour. Sadly campers with tent are not welcome there - no camping in the whole region only "aire camping park" for the holy RVs. So we stayed here. One cannot get to town and back in the evening because the ferry only runs until 20. The place is really great with many spots to sit and cook some under roof. Unfortunatelly fully parcelled/numbered, no tent meadow as is the norm in other parts of Europe.

Was there in: June 2025

Price: 21.72 (2p)

Tent area: No, fully parcelled. Two areas suitable for tents: We stayed at 2-5 between trees, shadowy but lots of mosquitoes/ants/bugs. 7-10 more grassy and has benches+table but no shadow.

Late arrival possible: Reception closes at 19. There is a barrier but idk if they usually close that. Calling possible but note that may not be an option for travellers due to roaming.

Showers: Included.

Laundry: Sinks (no plug). Machine 6 EUR.

Wifi: Included.

Other: Lots of benches+tables some under roof next to reception building. Grill. Pool (until 19 or 20 signs are contradictory). The bar was unoccupied and there is a freezer box, a microwave and a socket to charge stuff.
